Georgetown Savings Bank makes a PEACH of a donation

The North Andover Foundation for Education recently accepted the first donation from Georgetown Savings Bank from the partnership known as PEACH(partnership for educational assistance and community help). The Foundation is a young independent 501(c) 3 nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to preserving and enhancing public education in North Andover. Georgetown Savings Bank approached the organization last fall with the idea of giving back to the community in the form of the PEACH program. A true example of how a local business can positively impact the community, when individuals and businesses participate in the PEACH program and open a checking account at Georgetown Savings Bank, a $100.00 donation is made to the Foundation.
